I started this blog back in 2005 when the blogosphere was just beginning. A group of friends in my student ward at the time convinced me to start one. We all chose creative names for the blogs (or so I tried). Of course, the title of the blog comes from my love for Italy, which is where I served my mission. While in the MTC, we were asked to make a sign for ourselves that we would place on the classroom door. I didn't know what to write on mine. A sister in my district suggested Silent Thunder, apparently referring to my tendency to be fairly reserved. I don't blog as much as I would like, but I hope you visit often and feel free to comment.

Poor, ST. Well, I'm sure it's worth it. You rarely do things that aren't. Good luck!
I can't imagine having to work graveyards. You are a whole lot tougher than I. You rule.
